I was corrected by another commenter recently that AOL's Tim Anderson sold The Patch to a digitalRead Moreve nture capital group Hale Global. So if your wondering why The Patch sucks more than ever before, read on: http://techcrunch.com/2014/01/29/patch-hit-with-sweeping-layoffs-as-new-owner-hale-global-restructures/ Seems Tim Anderson's dream of an uber-local media empire, turned bad dream due to bad strategy, turned into his nightmare and is not in the hands of bean counters. So if you wonder where the local flavor went.....it's gone. There's like one employee left cutting and pasting.

I love my wife to death. But she is always wanting to make our house bigger. And she's alwaysRead Morewant ing to buy all of this new furniture. For one that we don't need, and two we don't really have the room for it. Because I've really wanted to actually downsize our house. So we'll just have to see how it plays out. When they say :all sales are final: they mean it. I bought a bra from a young girl(i am a senior) Read Morewho intimidated me. She showed me only one bra that fit me and walked out to the register to ring it up. I asked if she had anything cheaper, she didnt answer. At this point, I should have walked out of the store. But stupidly, I didnt and paid for the bra. I went back the very next day and spoke to the owner. I DIDN'T want my money back, I told her that I would buy $139. 00 worth of other bras or whatever in her store. All she kept telling me was, :I made a choice.: Bottom line I still have the bra and out the money. Not one drop of human kindness or room for human error in this store. Since then, I have heard other stories or nightmares from people about this store.I guess that is how they compete with the larger stores. Your money becomes theres no matter what.
