Twistin' The Night Away with The Cameos at Bergen Regional Medical Center

On Wednesday night over 300 people were enjoying the retro sounds of The Cameos at the campus of the Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus. The free concert was a great way to spend a late summer evening. Under the not quite so full moon at the gazebo on the expansive grounds of the medical center the Cameos put on a great show. Much to the delight of the residents, family and staff, as well as supporters of Bergen Regional, The Cameos held nothing back. The crowd was dancing, singing and carrying on as afternoon turned to evening.

"The Wanderer," "Run Around Sue," "Shake the Hand of a Brand New Man," "You Belong to Me," "The Twist," "One Summer Night" (very appropriate), "Just a Gigolo," "Jail House Rock," "Sham a Lam a Ding Dong" (Otis My Man!) plus other great hits from the 40s, 50s 60s and 70s. The Band is tight and the vocals are great. It was like being in a Goodfellas movie or Animal House even.

Deputy Mayor John Cosgrove and members of the Fair Lawn Sunrise Rotary were on hand to show support and have some fun.

This was a great show and lots of fun for the whole family. Next time they are in the area go and see The Cameos and remember to support The Bergen Regional Medical Center.
