Mya is a young, female American Bulldog in need of a new home. She was brought to the shelter because her former owner had to move in with another family member who had a dog Mya did not get along with. Therefore its recommended she be on the pet. It has been a difficult transition for her and she is quite anxious to find a loving home. This 3.5 year old sweetie, although timid, comes to her handler for comfort and support. It is very important her new owners do not coddle her. She will need a strong owner who can provide her with a lot of confidence boosting. Mya will come out of her shell in time and has already with some staff and volunteers. PetID#87506 Bergen County Animal Shelter

Cookie is a sweet and loving 4 year old guy. He is super friendly and very loving. Cookie loves to get attention. He does not seem to mind being by the other shelter cats. He was turned into the shelter when his owner got married. PetID#88387
Nick is a beautiful 11 year old front declawed cat who was brought to the shelter when a family member developed allergies. He has lived indoors his entire life. Nick has lived with children before. He does not seem to like the other shelter cats too much. PetID#88377

How do we know he's really American? He looks foreign to me.
