Beginning this weekend, RiverDell should start seeing temperatures ranging around 50-degrees as winter roared one final time on Friday with its final snow storm of the season.

The snow, which may turn to rain late on Friday, is expected to continue until 4pm and may add an additional inch or two on the ground. The River Dell area remained under a winter weather advisory until 1pm, according to the National Weather Service, along with winds of 15 to 25mph and gusts up to 40mph.

However, driving conditions could be hazardous throughout the day due to limited visibilty from the large wet snow flakes, winds gusts and the potential for ice on the roads.

Nicknamed "Winterstorm Saturn" by the Weather Channel, Friday's snow resulted in the closure of Bergen Catholic High School while all other area schools opened on time.

Saturday's forecast begins a four-day period of warmer weather as temperatures hit 50 degrees although there are chances of rain on Monday and Tuesday.
