Reader's Choice of Day Care: Reformed Church Nursery School

The Oradell churches nursery school was deemed the preferred option for Day Care

For the working parent/s in River Dell there are plenty of options for day care whether your child attends a religious program, an in-home center or a private entity, this week our readers voted for where they prefer to send their children.

Coming out on top of the seven businesses was Reformed Church Nursery School led by Director Chris Gwynne. Created in 1969 as a private non-profit program, the Reformed Church program received 80% of the vote.

At Reformed Church Nursery School, children from ages two-and-a-half to five-years-old receive social, emotional, physical and cognitivie growth in a safe inclusive environment.

"My three-and-a-half year old is in his first year there and leaves every day with a smile," said Jennifer Koth. "I know he is well taken care of by the staff and know he is learning. The women that run the school have been there a long time and truly love the students and their work."

A "peanut free" school, parents won't have to worry about their children with nut allergies having a reaction. And no matter what the weather is like, youngsters can rund around the indoor "hym" or in the outdoor play hard from September through June for half or full days.

Both G.D. Hotko and William gave the Nursery School five-star ratings, claiming it is "the best in New Jersey" to send their children.

Next week, Patch is looking for the "Best Places to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day." The voting begins at 5 a.m. on Monday.
