Dapple is a medium size female pit bull terrier whose soulful eyes will quickly reel you in. Once you take her out, she is all for walking and exploring the world as she is one curious little pooch. She has unfortunately, been at the shelter for more than 3 months, too long to live in a kennel. Although she is an adventurous girl, owners must be firm and set rules/routines in the household so she doesn't take total control over the family members. Since her stay here, she has definitely broken out of her shell and loves to show and receive affection. Bergen County Animal Shelter

Dusty Bottoms, a medium male tiger cat, is extremely social even though he came to the shelter as a stray. He reaches out to get noticed when one is near and will go belly up hoping to get a nice rub. He is not neutered but will be before he leaves the shelter.

Lucky Day is a loveable and social male tabby cat who came in to the shelter as a stray. He will shower you with wet kitty smooches in return for a loving home. The shelter says his sweet temperament and endless kisses will leave one feeling loved and appreciated. He is not neutered but will be before leaving the shelter.

Ned Nederland, is described as a happy male Tiger cat who came to the shelter as a stray but is very social. He has made friends with the staff and they believe he will grab your heart at first sight. He will be neutered before leaving the shelter.
Two-year old Zena, a Pit Bull Terrier, has a real fervor for the world and is willing to explore everything in it. She is pretty alert when outdoors and will need plenty of energy release once she is brought home. She came to the shelter because her owners could no longer care for her. From her new family, she will need all the basics, such as obedience training, socialization, housebreaking, loose leash training and physical and mental stimulation as unfortunately her previous owners didn’t seem to put too much time in to help her grow into an adult. She is responsible and will be a great family member as long as she is given the proper guidance and handling.
