Mitts and bats are ready for the spring season as the River Edge Little League and REGAL took to the diamonds at Veteran's Memorial Park and Kenneth B. George for Opening Day ceremonies.
This year marked the 60th anniversary of River Edge Little League while REGAL entered its 47th year of existence in the borough. Over 300 young girls will compete with REGAL this year with the senior division facing teams from Oradell, Montvale, Washington Township, Hillsdale, Park Ridge and River Vale. The baseball boys of River Edge will compete amongst themselves in several divisions.

I just would like to inform the photographer and the person with whom identified the children in the photos for the River Edge Little League that in one of the photos my son Aydon McCarthy was listed but it is not him. In the photograph the child is Jared Lubkemeirer. There are some really great pictures here!!!

Love the pictures! My son is pictured, but with the wrong name tag. He's a Ranger and is tagged as Ethan Herbst, his name is Ryan Demitriou. Thanks!
