K9 Karnival Coming to Oradell Sunday

Let your pooch play the day away at the K9 Karnival.

Grab the leash and get ready for you and your four-legged friend for Sunday's K9 Karnival that the Oradell Special Events Committee is hosting Sunday at the Oradell Senior Center from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Doggie's day out will include a puppy/dog costume parade, so start getting creative. There will be a fee of $3 per puppy/dog to participate in the parade. $5 total for more than one pet to participate.

Your K9 more of a red carpet pose for the paparazzi pooch? Well let them strut their stuff on the runway during the Dudes & Divas Pageant. There will be celebrity judges and prizes, and probably lots of collar bling. Registration starts at 1 p.m. at the Gazebo area.

This event raises funds that are used for Oradell’s special community events and patriotic celebrations such as Memorial Day, and Independence Day Festivities and Fireworks Display, so come on out and support it.

There will be live music, human and K-9 food vendors, dog related vendors, kids and K-9 activities, an opportunity to meet & adopt a new friend with a tail from a shelter or rescue group, live demonstrations, guest speakers and lots of activities for everyone in a fun family day out.
