Youngsters from kindergarten through third grade in River Edge and Oradell will have to wait until April 1 to search for Easter Eggs and meet the Easter Bunny.

The annual event has been delayed due to Saturday's rainy forecast beginning at 2am and continuing until sometime around 3pm.

The River Edge hunt begins at 1pm at the Veteran's Memorial Field. For Oradell children, the Preschool hunt begins at 1pm with the kindergarten through grade three search to follow at 1:30pm at the Doug Parcells Athletic Complex.

Children must supply their own containers for the egg hunt.
