Oliver is a very gentle and loving cat. He gets along ok with other shelter cats, but he may prefer being an only cat so he can get all the attention to himself. Oliver is about 5 years old. Pet ID# 87516
Curious and lively, Nestle is your typical hound. At 5-6 years old, he is more than willing to take you on a joy ride. He is ready and eager to explore the world and everything in it. A little on the pudgy side, this cutie will need plenty of physical and mental stimulation. Walks are a great way to provide that to him. Some training can also help with energy release and can definitely wear him by the end of the day. Because he is more on the independent side, positive socialization is recommended so he sees the benefit of human companionship. Hopefully, the more positive reinforcement he receives, the more he will enjoy the company and affection his two-legged friends have to offer. ID#about Nestle

This poor sweet girl was found wandering aimlessly on the streets of Elmwood Park. Shy and unsure, she will need a confident leader who has experience or knowledge of wary bully breeds. Longing for affection, Viola, a Pit Bull Terrier, will come to you for love once she has built some trust. Irresistible and impossible to say no to, she would gladly curl up next to you on the couch. A little hesitant at first, Viola will need space and time in order to adjust to her new family and home. We suggest allowing her to form a bond on her own terms and not to force her. Positive socialization will be key in building her self-esteem. She will require a strong handler who can provide her with the necessities in order for her to blossom into a more well balanced and healthy adult. 87391

Cali is a sweet 5 year old kitty. She was brought to the shelter when her owner passed away. Cali warms up as soon as she is pet and she loves to lean into your hand as you rub her head. Cali is ok with some of the other shelter cats, we think she would prefer to be an only cat though. Pet ID# 87257
