River Edge Begins New Tradition at Borough Hall

The borough's annual tree lighting was moved to Borough Hall from Veteran's Memorial Park to begin a new tradition

The River Edge Recreation Commission hosted its annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony on Saturday outside of Borough Hall. Following Hurricane Sandy, the annual event was moved from Veteran's Memorial Park to Borough Hall.

Residents of all ages gather in front of the Library before walking and singing carols together town Tenney Avenue to the lighting ceremony. Leading the way were the Girl Scouts and special holiday guests.
