Seeded eighth in the Gordon Cup, BC will once again face the Black Crusaders of Bishop Eustace for the right to advance on Thursday night in Montclair and face top-seeded Delbarton this weekend. Bergen won their last meeting 6-3 in January. Prior to that, the Crusaders ended their regular season on a sour note, falling 5-2 to the Gloucester Catholic Rams. The Rams took a 2-0 lead during the first period and the score stayed that way until the third when Mike Ramirez and Patrick Maron netted back-to-back goals to tie the game. But the Rams kept their momentum going taking on a trio of goals for the win.

Consistently inconsistent is the best way to sum up the Crusaders basketball season as Bergen fellt 76-67 to Passaic despite hitting double digits in the second half. Amani Adams led with 18 points and four Crusaders came out from behind the arc: Kyle Queiro (2), Richie Deluca, John Tsimis and Taino Flores.
