The River Edge Cultural Center held a three-day exhibition of artwork and music by upcoming artists
For three days, the River Edge Cultural Center opened its doors to rising artists in its latest exhibit "A New Generation of Artists", highlighting local artists that produce work in varies mediums. Work included film, photography, poetry, paintings, skateboards and homemade guitars.

Thanks Guys. Can you help RE become really a cool place where young artists would love to gather and give a boost to livelihood and economy here. There may be a lot one can do to improve how the streets/town/parks look, for example.

Wouldn't it be nice if River Edge had a cafe like Oradell's Cool Beans? A place where people could gather to chat and eat and perhaps hear acoustic music? A place where local artists could hang their paintings/drawings/photographs? Even a Starbucks would do...instead of fast food pizza and Subway. It's a wanna be nice town with nothing but strip malls. (Though it does have a few nice mom + pop non-chain store restaurants like Sanducci's and A Taste of Greece and Turkish Kitchen).

That's exactly what we need. I was also thinking something like French crepe house and Dutch pancake house for children and elderly. Once they demolish ex-American Legion building, they can create something nice there??
